May 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17

Based on the cult classic film of the same name, Heathers is the story of Veronica Sawyer, a senior at the fictional Westerberg High. Veronica longs to be cool like the clique of it-girls that runs Westerberg: the unaffected, unattainable Heathers. Unfortunately, in addition to awesome levels of popularity, the Heathers are also cruel, choosing to mock and bully their kingdom into submission.

Opening Night May 8th at 7:00PM!

Our Guest Director

Dylan Mendoza

Dylan Mendoza is excited to make his directorial debut at Camille Playhouse with Heathers: The Musical! With over a decade of experience in theatre, Dylan has worn many hats both onstage and behind the scenes, developing a deep appreciation for the creative process and the unique magic of live performance.

Guided by a love for storytelling and collaboration, Dylan’s approach to directing focuses on creating an inclusive, supportive environment where cast and crew can take creative risks, grow together, and bring fresh energy to each production.

Dylan studied theatre at Texas A&M University- Kingsville, where he graduated with a Bachelor's in Communications. Since then, he has been a part of various community theatres across South Texas- including Aurora Arts Theatre in Corpus Christi, Harlingen Community Theatre and Weslaco Tower Theater. Dylan last seen on the Camille stage in "Into The Woods" as The Wolf & Steward.

Beyond the stage, Dylan enjoys watching movies—a passion that inspires his vision as a director and fuels his commitment to crafting visually rich and emotionally resonant theatre.

Dylan is grateful to the entire Camille Playhouse family for their hard work and trust throughout this journey. He hopes that audiences leave Heathers: The Musical entertained, challenged, and reminded of the powerful connections that theatre can create. And as always, Dylan would like to thank his dear friends and beloved family for their continued support.
