into the woods

SEPTEMBER 13-22, 2024

Music and Lyrics by STEPHEN SONDHEIM, Book by JAMES LAPINE

“Once upon a time” is a well-known beginning of many stories and is also the opening of

the musical INTO THE WOODS by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine. This show

intertwines many of the fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm and creates a new story of

wishes, consequences, deception, magic, and getting a storybook ending. The show

follows a Baker and his wife who are wishing for a family, Cinderella who wishes to go to

the Prince’s Ball, Jack and mother who wish for a better life, and Little Red who wishes

to visit her grandmother. They are also met with more characters such as a magical

Witch, Rapunzel and her Prine, a big bad Wolf, and a Giant. Follow along as they come

together to help each other to get their wishes. However, remember: be careful what

you wish for.

the crucible

By Arthur Miller

The Salem Witch Trials is a period when the New England area was plagued with

hysteria and accusations. This period is the setting for Arthur Miller’s play THE

CRUCIBLE and explores a town that falls apart and loses its sense of community to the

scare of witches. The play follows John Proctor and his relationship with his wife

Elizabeth, the accuser Abigail Williams, and the town of Salem.

In TARTUFFE we find ourselves in the posh home of Orgon and his family. When they

are visited by a man named Tartuffe, the family notices something is amiss. With the

head of the family enamored by this guest, the rest of the family is thrown into a

Disaster!

APRIL 11 - 27, 2025

By Seth Rudetsky and Jack Plotnick

We are looking for some Hot Stuff and we found some with DISASTER: THE MUSICAL.

With a variety of characters, the group boards the Barracuda, a floating casino and

discotheque. When a fault line is hit, the ship is turned upside down (literally) and the

cast races against time to survive tidal waves, earthquakes, and piranhas. With an

incredible soundtrack of classic 70’s music, this show will have you dancing on your feet

like it’s Saturday Night.
